    The human body is made up of many systems. Systems are made up of many parts. Organs are made up of different types of tissues. Tissues are made up of cells.


    ⦿ Cells - Cells are the smallest, basic unit of life that is responsible for all of life's processes.The human body is composed of trillions of cells. They provide structure for the body, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions
    ⦿ Tissues - A group of cells in the body of an organism is called a tissue, which have a common origin and perform a specific function together as a unit.
    ⦿ Organs - A group of tissues in a living organism that have been adapted to perform a specific function.
    Some examples for organs are heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, stomach, liver, pancreas, oesophagus, intestine, sense organs like eyes, ears, skin, tongue, nose etc.

    What is the Human Body Parts?

    Human body is the complete structure of a human organism, which consists of cells, Tissues, Organs. An adult human's body is made up of about 50 trillion cells, which are the basic units of life. Tissues provide shape to the body and help the body to conserve heat and store energy. An organ is a collection of tissues that structurally form a functional unit and performs a specific function
    The organs are in two types: External organ and internal organ.

    Definitions of External Organs


    Hair - बाल

    ⦿ The hair of our body is made of protein, this protein is called keratin. Hair protects our skin and Scalp.


    Head – सिर

    ⦿ The Head is part of our body above our neck. The main sense organs are : sensory functions such as eye for sight, brain for thinking , ears for hearing, nose for smell, mouth for food, tongue for taste, teeth for chewing.


    Forehead – ललाट / माथा

    ⦿ Forehead is the part of a person’s face above the eyes and below the hair. The muscles of the forehead help to form facial expressions.


    Face – चेहरा

    ⦿ The face is the front of the head that features the forehead, eyes, nose and mouth, cheek lips and through which face expresses many emotions.


    Cheek – गाल

    ⦿ Cheeks are made up of several muscles, fat pads, glands and tissues. This complex structure allows the cheque to eat, talk, and participate in facial expression. Cheeks are described as the area below the eyes but above the jawline. The cheeks are spread between the nose and the ears.


    Ear – कान

    ⦿ Ears are present on the sides of the head. Ears are the senses of hearing.


    Temple – कनपटी

    ⦿ The temple is the flat part on either side of our forehead and above the ears.


    Eye – आँख

    ⦿ The human eye is an organ that helps us to look around. The human eye provides us with vision and is a very sensitive organ.


    Eyelid – पलक

    ⦿ The eyelid is a thin fold of skin that closes over the eye to protect it.


    Iris – आंख की पुतली

    ⦿ The colored tissue at the front of the eye that contains the pupil in the center.


    Eyebrow – भौ

    ⦿ The eyebrow is an area of short hairline above each eye or hair usually growing in a line above the eye.


    Eyelash – पलक के बाल

    ⦿ The short hairs that grow along the edges of your eyelid.


    Nose – नाक

    ⦿ The nose is the primary organ of smell and functions as an important respiratory organ in the body. The process of respiration starts in the nose. The nose has an important function in breathing and sneezing.


    Nostril – नथना

    ⦿ A nostril is one of the two holes in our nose through which we breathe, smell, and sneeze.


    Lip – ओठ

    ⦿ Lips are the outer visible part of the mouth. Lips are soft, flexible and are the entrance of the food intake hole (mouth) .Apart from this, they also help in pronunciation of voice.


    Jaw – जबड़ा

    ⦿ The top and bottom of the mouth are called the jaw. It helps in chewing the food.


    Mouth – मुँह

    ⦿ The mouth is the first part of the alimentary canal that receives food and saliva. Its main function i.e. the first link of the digestive system, the mouth performs another important function in human beings, which is to communicate with each other through talking.


    Teeth – दाँत

    ⦿ Teeth are small, whitish structures located in the mouth (or jaws) of many vertebrates. Teeth are used for tearing food, chewing etc.


    Tongue – जीभ

    ⦿ The tongue is present inside the mouth, it has a sense of taste and helps in talking.


    Chin – ठुड्डी

    ⦿ Your chin is the part of our face below your mouth and above your neck.


    Neck – गर्दन

    ⦿ The neck connects our head to the trunk and it connects our spinal cord to the head, it also helps to move our head.


    Beard – डाढ़ी

    ⦿ Beard is the growth of hair in the mouth, cheeks, chin and throat of an adult male.


    Moustache -मूंछ

    ⦿ Moustache is the hair above the lips and below the nose of an adult male.


    Hand – हाथ

    ⦿ Hands are the endpoint of the arms. There are fingers here. Hands are used to hold the objects.


    Shoulder – कन्धा

    ⦿ Shoulders are the body parts located on the two upside corners of the body below the neck. In other words, the shoulders are the starting point of the arms.The human shoulder is made up of three bones. The shoulder gives support to the arms.


    Elbow – कोहनी

    ⦿ The elbow joint is a hinge joint between the arm and the forearm.


    Arm – बाजू

    ⦿ Arms are the extension of the shoulders. Some of the stronger muscles of the body are here. Arms help us to bend from the mid portion of the arm which makes it easy to perform activities.Generally, this part is used to lift or carry something.


    Armpit – बगल

    ⦿ Armpit is the part of the body under the arm at the point where it joins the shoulder.


    Forearm– हाँथ कोहनी तक / बाँह

    ⦿ The part of the upper limb from the elbow to the wrist.


    Wrist – कलाई

    ⦿The wrist is the joint between the palm and the arm. It is of great importance to keep the hand moving.


    Palm - हथेली

    ⦿ T The palm is the part below the wrist in our hand, it has fingers and its muscles are strong and there is no hair on it.


    Fist - मुट्ठी

    ⦿ A hand with the fingers turned in tightly and the thumb held against them.


    Thumb – अंगूठा

    ⦿ The short, thick finger on the side of your hand that makes it possible to hold and pick things up easily.


    Fingers - उँगलिया

    ⦿ The tips of the hands and feet are called fingers. Humans have five fingers each in each hand and foot. In this way a man has twenty fingers in total.


    Chest – छाती

    ⦿ The chest is present below the neck and above the stomach, it helps in protecting the lungs and heart.


    Waist – कमर

    ⦿ The waist is the part of the abdomen between the ribs and the hips. people who have a proportional body.


    Abdomen – उदर

    ⦿ The front part of the body is the part between the chest and the hip.


    Navel – नाभि

    ⦿ There is a deep scar on the abdomen, which is formed due to the separation of the umbilical cord from the newborn. All placental mammals have an umbilical cord. This is quite evident in humans.


    Leg – टांग

    ⦿ Legs are the body part that helps a person to stand up. Also, it is used for running and walking. A leg includes hip , thigh, knees, calf , foot,ankle, paw, sole etc.The endpoints of the legs are feet.


    Thigh – जांघ

    ⦿ The thigh is between the hip and knee and makes up the rest of the lower limb.


    Knee – घुटना

    ⦿ TThe knee is the joint between the thigh and the lower leg in humans. Knees help us to bend our legs and are round in shape.


    Calf – पिंडली

    ⦿ The calf is the back portion of the lower leg in humans.


    Foot – पांव

    ⦿ Foot is the terminal part of the leg, below the ankle joint, on which the body stand and move.


    Heel – एड़ी

    ⦿ The heel is the portion of the human body that lies at the bottom-rear part of each foot.


    Sole – पैर का निचला भाग

    ⦿ The sole is the area on the bottom of the foot. The sole of the foot lacks hair and pigmentation compared to other areas on the body, and has a higher concentration of sweat pores. The thickest layers of skin in the body are on it due to the weight that is constantly placed on it.


    Ankle – टखना

    ⦿ The ankle is the joint that connects the bones in the lower leg to the foot bones.


    Toe – पैरो की उँगलियाँ

    ⦿ Toes are the figures of our foot.


    Toenail – पैर के उंगली के नाख़ून

    ⦿ Toenail is the hard, slightly curved part that covers and protects the end of a toe.

    Brain - मस्तिष्क

    ⦿ The most important part of the human body is the brain. It is the organs that control all the activity performed by the body. Whether it is the consumption of food or walking down the road or memorising the body parts name, these all functions are controlled by the brain.


    Thyroid - थाइरोइड

    ⦿ The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland located in the lower part of the neck.It is on top of the windpipe. It is one of the largest excretory glands found in the human body. The thyroid gland helps regulate growth and metabolism.It secretes triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) hormones. This is called thyroid hormone.


    Pharynx - ग्रसनी

    ⦿ The pharynx is the part of the throat behind the mouth and nasal cavity that is above the esophagus and windpipe. Pharynx is found in both vertebrates and invertebrates. The pharynx itself carries food and air to the esophagus and larynx respectively.


    Larynx - कंठनली

    ⦿ The larynx is a respiratory organ present in the throat of humans and other mammals, using which these creatures are able to speak in different types of sounds. There are many vocal cords inside the larynx


    Trachea - वायु-नली

    ⦿ The trachea is the tube that connects the larynx in the throat to the lungs and is an important part of the way air gets from the mouth to the lungs.


    Heart - हृदय

    ⦿ The heart is located in the ribcage. It is the organ that works non-stop from the time of birth. The heart is responsible for pumping blood into the body.


    Lungs - फेफड़े

    ⦿ A pair of organs in the chest that supply oxygen to the body, and remove carbon dioxide from the body.


    Liver - यकृत

    ⦿ It is located in the upper right part of the abdominal cavity, it is one of the most essential organs of the human body. The two most important functions of the liver are detoxification and digestion. The molecules secreted by the liver aids in food digestion.


    Stomach - पेट

    ⦿ The stomach plays an important role in the human body and it contains different organs around it. The stomach receives food from the esophagus. The stomach helps in the digestion of food.


    Intestines (large intestine and small intestine) - आंत (बड़ी आंत और छोटी आंत)

    ⦿ In human anatomy, the intestine (or bowel) is the part of the alimentary canal that extends from the stomach to the anus, and in humans and other mammals, it consists of two parts, the small intestine and the large intestine.


    Kidney - गुर्दा

    ⦿ It is a bean-shaped organ; there are two kidneys in the human body. They are crucial for the survival of a human being. They are responsible for the purification of blood and the formation of urine.


    Pancreas - अग्न्याशय

    ⦿ The pancreas is an organ located behind your stomach. It makes enzymes that help in digestion of food. It also produces hormones that control blood sugar levels.


    Bile - पित्त

    ⦿ Bile is a digestive fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. During bile reflux, digestive fluid backs up into the stomach and, in some cases, the esophagus.


    Gallbladder - पित्ताशय

    ⦿ Gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ of the body which is just behind the liver. The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid called bile that's released into your small intestine.Bile juice helps in the absorption of fat. Sometimes there is accumulation of cholesterol, bilirubin and bile salts in the gallbladder.


    Spleen - तिल्ली

    ⦿ Spleen is a small organ found in all vertebrates. In humans, the spleen is located in our left rib cage, just above the stomach. It works to destroy old red blood cells and is also the accumulated reservoir of blood. It is a part of the immune system.


    Urinary bladder - मूत्राशय

    ⦿ The urinary bladder is an important part of the urinary system of the body. It is located in the pelvic cavity, posterior to the symphysis pubis, and below the parietal peritoneum. The main function of this sac is to collect urine in the bladder and then to pass it out at will.


    Appendix

    ⦿ Appendix is a small pouch attached to the opening of the large intestine. Appendicitis is inflammation of the appendix.

    ⦿ Bones are living tissue which have their own blood vessels and are made of various cells, proteins, minerals and vitamins. Bone makes up the body's skeleton.


    Skeleton - कंकाल

    ⦿ The skeletal system provides the hard structure or framework to the human body which protects the body. It is made up of connective tissues such as bones, cartilages, tendons and ligaments.


    Rib - पसली

    ⦿ Ribs are the long, arcuate bones that make up the rib cage. In quadrupeds, ribs protect the thoracic cavity, in which important organs like heart, lungs, trachea, esophagus, thymus gland, etc. are located.


    Spine - रीढ़ की हड्डी

    ⦿ The spinal cord is a set of bones in the back that runs from the back of the brain to near the anus. There are 33 sections (vertebrae) in it. The spinal cord is protected in the spinal canal inside the spinal cord.


    Blood - खून

    ⦿ Blood is a bodily fluid that continuously flows through blood vessels to various organs. This thick, somewhat sticky, reddish fluid flowing in the blood vessels is a living tissue. It is made up of plasma and blood cells.


    Vein - नस

    ⦿ Veins are a type of blood vessel that return deoxygenated blood from your organs back to your heart. These are different from your arteries, which deliver oxygenated blood from your heart to the rest of your body.


    Arteries - धमनियां

    ⦿ The arteries are the blood vessels that deliver oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the tissues of the body.They play a crucial role in distributing oxygen, nutrients and hormones throughout your body.


    Muscles - माँसपेशियाँ

    ⦿ Muscles are the internal pieces of body tissue which connect bones together, and which expand and contract when making a movement.
